New Build Boilers: When Should You Service?
A brand-new boiler from a new build doesn't need servicing in year one. But from year two onwards, annual servicing is a requirement of most manufacturer warranties.
What Happens If You Don't Service?
Missing a service year can void your manufacturer warranty. If the boiler breaks down in year 4 and you've missed a service, the manufacturer may refuse to cover the repair.
New Build Boiler Problems
New builds often have air and debris in the heating system from installation. Magnetic filtration (which we install on all jobs) catches this debris. Many new build warranties also require a power flush if the system shows high levels of contamination at the first service.
