E9 (or E9 168) typically indicates a safety cut-out due to overheating. Check the pressure, bleed radiators, and if the fault persists, call a Gas Safe engineer.
What does F22 mean on a Vaillant boiler?
F22 on a Vaillant boiler means low water pressure. Repressurise the system to 1.5 bar using the filling loop and reset the boiler.
