How long is the boiler warranty?
Warranties vary by brand: Worcester Bosch 10 years, Vaillant 5 years (extendable to 10), Baxi 5–7 years, Ideal 5–7 years. All require annual servicing to maintain the warranty.
What voids a boiler warranty?
Not having the boiler serviced annually, using non-authorised parts, allowing unregistered engineers to work on the boiler, or failing to install a magnetic filter (required by most manufacturers).
Does Corby Boiler Installations offer a workmanship guarantee?
Yes. All our installations come with a 12-month workmanship guarantee on top of the manufacturer's warranty.
What if my boiler breaks down under warranty?
Contact us first — we can often resolve issues quickly. For manufacturer warranty claims, we'll liaise with the manufacturer on your behalf.
Is the warranty transferable if I sell my house?
Most boiler warranties are transferable to the new owner, provided the service history is up to date. Keep all service records and installation paperwork.
